[ Redline Tactix, LLC · Contract & Margin Protection ]

We don’t just read contracts. We engineer them.

Redline Tactix takes hard-won federal and commercial contract discipline and makes it work for small and medium businesses serving commercial clients. We find where margin is leaking across terms, costs, and pricing — then help design the architecture to stop it before signature, during performance, and when a dispute threatens the work.

Federal-grade discipline, in plain business terms: we review your agreements, costs, and pricing together, find where margin is exposed, and build protections sized for your company — starting with a diagnostic conversation.

Audit — find the leak

LAYER 01 · FOUNDATION DIAGNOSTIC

We map your agreements, pricing, and obligations as one structure, and mark where margin is exposed before anyone signs anything new.

Watch for: pricing models that don’t capture the full cost of the work.

36 years Contracts, pricing & operations leadership across federal and commercial work, aerospace, defense, and private enterprise.
Both sides Buyer, seller, administrator, manager, integrated cost and price analyst, and executive. From the bottom to the top, Kristie has worked every level — and seen how agreements are evaluated, priced, performed, and challenged from every seat at the table.
Cost + Price An integrated Cost and Price Analyst’s view. The financials are read with the clauses, keeping cost, price, risk, and margin connected.
Built for SMBs Robust process, right-sized. Federal-grade discipline translated into practical systems for small and medium businesses and their commercial clients.

Where Leaks Hide

The problem usually isn’t one bad clause. It’s a system with leaks.

A diagnosis looks across the whole commercial structure — customer and vendor agreements, cost and pricing models, change control, and open exposure — not at a single document in isolation. These are the places leaks can hide.

01 / PRICING

Pricing that leaves money in the walls

Pricing models that don’t capture the full cost of the work — labor, materials, overhead, scope, risk, and effort priced on habit instead of structure.

EXPOSURE: UNRECOVERED BURDEN & MARGIN EROSION
02 / SIGNATURE

Signed before the risk is understood

Customer, supplier, and partner agreements executed on the other side’s paper and timeline, before one-sided terms are surfaced and negotiated.

EXPOSURE: UNHEDGEABLE INDEMNITY & FLOWDOWN TRAPS
03 / CHANGE ORDERS

Work performed, protection missing

Change orders carried out without proper enforcement — the work is real, but the right to be paid for it isn’t secured.

EXPOSURE: UNBILLED SCOPE CREEP & WAIVED CLAIMS
04 / DISPUTES

Exposure found when it’s too late

Risk that only becomes visible once a dispute begins, when the contract — not the memory of the deal — decides the outcome.

EXPOSURE: UNDEFENDED REMEDIES & LEVERAGE LOSS

The Architect

One architect. Both sides of the table.

Most contract problems aren’t a drafting problem — they’re an architecture problem. Terms, pricing, change orders, and dispute posture are load-bearing parts of one structure, and they fail together.

Kristie Ford’s experience spans federal and commercial work — as buyer, seller, administrator, manager, executive, and integrated Cost and Price Analyst. She has worked from the bottom to the top, so she has seen where the leaks, weak points, and problems form across the full architecture, and she reads the financials alongside the contract language.

Assess Agreement assessment and redlining grounded in how the work actually performs.
Price Cost structures, pricing decisions, and margin connected directly to the contract terms.
Intercept Risk intercepts before signature and during performance — not after the loss.
Defend Negotiation playbooks, job-site costing, change-order enforcement, and dispute defense.

Why Kristie Ford

Experience that crosses the table — and reads the financials.

This isn’t theory learned from a template. It’s a 36-year record across government and commercial work: signing and administering agreements, pricing the work, and seeing how each decision performs after signature. Redline translates that depth into clear systems a small or medium business can actually run — not government bureaucracy, but the same clarity around cost, price, risk, and performance. Kristie holds FAC-C Level III — the federal government’s senior professional certification in contracting, built on years of advanced training and progressive, hands-on experience. She served as a warranted Air Force Contracting Officer, personally entrusted with signature authority to bind the federal government, and brings 36 years of real-world deal execution on both sides of the table, federal and commercial.

Both Sides

Signed for the Government. Worked for the Commercial side. As a retired warranted Air Force Contracting Officer, Kristie has evaluated, awarded, and enforced contracts for the Government. As a Commercial Contracts and Pricing leader, she has negotiated, priced and performed them for the other side. She knows how each side thinks, because she’s sat in both chairs.

Cost & Price

Pricing is contract architecture in numbers. Backed by integrated cost and price analyst expertise—from forward pricing rate structures to ProPricer enterprise rollouts—we help teams build structured, defensible bidding models that protect profit margins before proposals go out the door. Drawing on experience directing pricing on a $100M+ commercial aerospace portfolio at Collins Aerospace, we bring high-stakes pricing precision down to commercial businesses so they never bid at a loss.

Scale

High-stakes execution across commercial and federal markets. Managed a $100M+ annual commercial aerospace portfolio for tier-1 global airlines at Collins Aerospace, directed a $4B+ national VA healthcare support mission spanning 500+ clinics, and administered multi-billion-dollar defense platforms—including the B-2 Bomber, Global Hawk, an $8B Missile Defense Agency portfolio, and the $15B+ National Security Space Launch program. Redline translates the discipline of billion-dollar programs into practical operational architecture for growing companies.

Commercial Application

Principles that apply, systems that fit. Government regulations don’t govern commercial deals, but the survival principles inside them do: clear scope, documented changes, defensible pricing, and accountability for performance. Redline translates high-stakes contract discipline into practical systems sized for your company’s pace and resources.

How We Work

Four moves. One structure.

The same sequence, whether the engagement is a single agreement or an entire portfolio — practical, proportionate, and scaled to the problem the diagnosis finds and the resources of a small or medium business.

Step 01

Audit

Find the leak and quantify the exposure. We evaluate customer and vendor agreements, indirect cost burdens, and pricing assumptions to identify where profit is actively bleeding out.

Step 02

Build

Structure protections around the risk. We help leadership design contract terms and pricing floors tailored to their actual operational capacity—not rigid templates or government red tape copied wholesale.

Step 03

Deploy

Put the defenses into daily practice. We arm your team with practical redlines, change order protocols, and negotiation playbooks that project managers and estimators will actually use.

Step 04

Guard

Watch for drift as the work performs. We monitor performance signals, unapproved scope additions, and early dispute triggers while they are still cheap and manageable to resolve.

Every engagement begins with a diagnostic session — a direct look at your current agreements, cost burdens, and pricing assumptions to identify where profit is bleeding out. That is where the architecture begins. Because every company operates differently, we guide your team in designing protections built around your actual workflow, keeping final operational control and execution in your hands.
